I love walking in Autumn. The cool air brings me peace, and when I gaze at all the colors I feel like I am literally soaking up sunshine in my soul. The aspens in the Rocky Mountains are breathtaking this year. The shimmering yellows and oranges are exquisite, an echo of bright butterfly wings that were airborne just a month ago. Beauty such as this leads me to a quiet place of gratitude. God has made this world alive with resounding wonder. With open eyes and heart, I receive His gracious gift. My paintings are my “thank You” to God.
