Every day is an opportunity to celebrate the glorious First Day of Creation, when God said, “Let there be light” and light happened! The vibrant brilliance of light spun and danced in God’s presence before anything else was called into being. This is where Genesis 1 and science agree; light does come first in the created order. Light also translates into color, a complete spectrum of wonder, of which our eyes only perceive a fraction.

May our eyes be open each morning, to behold the miracle light as it shines in our homes and in our hearts.
